YouTube has added a feature to highlight the most rewinded parts of the video, allowing users to quickly see the most interesting passages.
Specifically, on each video, a fuzzy graph will appear above the progress bar of that video. “If one part of the chart is higher than the others, that part is viewed by more people. Users can use this feature to quickly find the best moment,” said a representative of YouTube .

This feature has appeared on the paid version of YouTube Premium as an experiment. Currently, YouTube users on web and mobile platforms can use it.
According to The Verge, the addition from YouTube brings many conveniences, allowing viewers to find out the best parts of long videos without spending a lot of time, as well as determine whether the entire video is attractive or not. This also pushes creators to invest more in a quality video, rather than just a few remarkable moments.
However, there are also opinions that the new feature can distract, or make users exit the video faster than before.
Currently, the new function is available in the US and some European countries, but has not been implemented in Vietnam.
